IN THE DIRECTION=OF HIS WLL

  

IN THE DIRECTION=OF HIS WILL

 

Today=we read about

Jesus=PROMISING US PEACE=

It pauses me=to think

WHAT KIND of peace?

What world=is he talking about?

 

These PAST few years=

Have been CHALLENGING FOR US=

Particularly since COVID=

But we can still FIND PEACE

In this world with Jesus=and

The Holy Father God

 

“Jesus said to his disciples’=

‘PEACE I leave with you=MY PEACE

I give to you……..

Do not=Let your hearts be troubled

Or afraid’”                                                                                                                                 John 14:27

 

The PEACE of Christ

Was NEVER a promise=of smooth sailing=

NOR is it an excuse=for us

To be self-satisfied

 

We CAN’T FIX everything

In this world=but we CAN

All do our part=BY TRUSTING our God

 

And by STAYING LOYAL

To God and Christ=as well as each other

And by moving

IN THE DIRECTION=OF HIS WILL

 

“DIRECT ME

In the path=of your commands

For there=I find delight”                                                                                                       Psalm 119:35

 

“May the Lord=DIRECT your hearts

Into God’s love=and Christ’s perseverance”                                                                 2 Thessalonians 3:5

 

This is a WORLD=where

It has always been difficult=TO FIND PEACE

And it wasn’t=any EASIER for Jesus

And the apostles=in fact

IT WAS HARDER

 

But they FOUND PEACE

By tying themselves=YOKING themselves

To the Holy Father God and Jesus=by following

IN THE DIRECTION=OF HIS WILL

 

“Anyone who chooses

TO DO THE WILL=OF GOD

 

Will find out=whether my teachings

Comes from God=or whether

I speak on my own”                                                                                                         John 7:17

 

“For I have not hesitated

To proclaim to you=

THE WHOLE WILL=of God”                                                                                              Acts 20:27

 

“Then I said’=

‘Here I am=it is written

About me=in the scroll

 

I have come=

TO DO YOUR WILL=my God’”                                                                                         Hebrews 10:7

 

We read about=BOTH successes and

Failures=and sufferings of ministry

BY the early apostles=and we face these

SAME ISSUES TODAY=we face trials

 

Even if=we are MOVING

IN THE DIRECTION=OF HIS WILL

 

This world is DIFFICULT=and NOT

As it should be at all=it is THE FAULT

Of ALL of us

IS it any wonder=that we are afraid

And CAN’T FIND PEACE?

 

Keep staying LOYAL=to God=and Jesus Christ

Keep moving=IN THE DIRECTION=OF THE WILL

Of the Father God=and you

WILL EVENTUALLY FIND SOME PEACE

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=Holy Father God!
