FINDING PEACE=A SEASON OF RENEWAL

Today=is the first day of LENT=

We once AGAIN=

Enter a season of RENEWAL

And HOPE for us

THROUGH God's grace=during LENT=

We CAN once again

Experience a CONVERSION of the HEART

“Have MERCY on me=O God=

In your goodness

In the greatness

Of your COMPASSION

Wipe out my offense”                                                                                              Psalm 51:3

This conversion entails a TURNING

Of our heart back toward God

This CONVERSION entails TWO THINGS=

Finding PEACE with God=and finding peace

With our sisters and brothers in Christ

CONVERTING our hearts to LOVE and forgiveness

For all=

TURN your hearts toward God

“Turn from evil and

DO GOOD

Seek PEACE and

Pursue it”                                                                                                                     Psalm 34:14

“Get words=get UNDERSTANDING

Do NOT forget my words=

Or turn away

From them”                                                                                                                Proverbs 4:5

“Repent then=

And TURN to God

So that

Your sins may be

Wiped out

That times of REFRESHING

May COME from the Lord”                                                                                            Acts 3:19

Lent is a time for RENEWAL

It is a time/THE TIME

When we should make

A determined EFFORT

To forgive those

Who have hurt us

And we should make AMENDS=

To those of whom we have offended

In whatever WAY that we can

MAKING PEACE with God

And others are INSEPARABLE=

They go hand and hand

It is a time

For REACHING OUT to others

Lent is a time 

For finding PEACE=LENT is

A time for RENEWAL

Of our hearts to God and

To OTHERS

“.............

Who satisfies your desires

With GOOD things

So that your youth

Is RENEWED=like the eagle's”                                                                                    Psalm 103:5

“Therefore=we do NOT 

Lose heart

Tough outwardly

We are wasting away

Yet INWARDLY=

We are BEING RENEWED

Day by day”                                                                                                        2 Corinthians 4:16

He saved us

NOT because of the righteous things

We have done

But because of his MERCY

He SAVED us

Through the washing of rebirth

And RENEWAL

By the HOLY SPIRIT

…............”                                                                                                                Titus 3:5

Dear Lord=HELP US to do our BEST

To right our wrongs

In the coming weeks

So that we may FIND PEACE

WITHIN OURSELVES

It is a time of RENEWAL

And REBIRTH for us
