BUILDING OTHERS UP!

(With God’s Words)

 

Sometimes=we have

To say GOODBYE=to people

Sometimes they are=TEMPORARY

And sometimes=it is a

PERMANENT GOODBYE=because of

A DEATH=or something else

BUILDING OTHERS UP!

 

Today we read about=

A FINAL GOODBYE=from Paul

They were sad=the people=because

They would NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN

 

“They were all=weeping loudly

As they threw their arms=Around Paul

And kissed him

 

For they were=DEEPLY DISTRESSED

That he had said=they would NEVER

See his face again”                                                                                                                            Acts 20:37-38

 

We should always

BUILD OTHERS UP!=when

We say GOODBYE

 

For we never know

WHETHER OUR GOODBYE=is

A temporary=or PERMANENT ONE

 

I would love anything

To see MY DAD AND MOM again

I said goodbye to my dad=

In the year 2,000=and to my mom

In 2010

 

ONE THING=I know

Is that I never have to feel bad=

Because our GOODBYES were touching

FILLED WITH LOVE=we were always

BUILDING EACH OTHER UP!

 

“Unless the Lord=BUILDS

The house=the builders

Labor in vain”                                                                                                                       Psalm 127:1

 

“We all possess knowledge=

But knowledge puffs up=while love

BUILDS UP”                                                                                                                    1 Corinthians 8:1

 

“…….BUILT on a foundation

Of the apostles and prophets

With Christ= himself=as the chief cornerstone”                                                                   Ephesians 2:20

 

Paul’s goodbye to the EPHESIANS

Is a sad one=Paul tells them

It is the LAST ONE

 

Just as=MY FINAL GOODBYES

To my mom and dad=and

OTHER family members and friends

Were so very sad=but they were all

Filled with love=and by

BUILDING OTHERS UP!

 

BUILDING OTHERS UP!=

In our every day moments

As well as in in=OUR VERY LAST MOMENTS

 

Paul COMMENDS the community=to God

And PRAYS that it be built up

By=THE WORD OF GOD

 

“Therefore=everyone who hears

THESE WORDS OF MINE=and

Puts them into practice

 

Is like a wise man=who BUILT his house

On the rock”                                                                                                                      Matthew 7:24

 

So WHEN you say goodbye

To someone today==HOLD that person

A little closer=for we NEVER KNOW

When it might be=OUR FINAL GOODBYE

 

Like Saint Paul=and the Ephesians

Like me=and my mom and dad

And other family and friends=that

LIFE has taken from us

 

Always BUILD EACH OTHERS UP!=for we

Just never know=WHEN=it might be

OUR FINAL GOODBYE

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God=who is always

BUILDING US UP!
