IN HIS IMAGE=IN HIS LIKENESS

 

IN HIS IMAGE=AND=

IN HIS LIKENESS (GOD'S POWER)

We are ALL made

IN the image =and the likeness

Of God

And SINCE we are made

In HIS IMAGE=and

In his likeness

We all have

The CAPACITY to contribute

To GOD'S KINGDOM

“You will receive POWER

When the HOLY SPIRIT

Comes upon you........”                                                                                                  Acts 1:8

GOD'S kingdom is FULL of paradoxes-

And is full of BEAUTY

And since=we are MADE

IN his image

And in his likeness

We have the GOD-GIVEN POWER

To serve=to do GOOD=

For others-

And to LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS

But first we must

ADMIT to ourselves

That all of our POWER

ALL of our CAPACITY to serve others

COMES from God

We MUST admit to ourselves

That we are powerless

And BECAUSE we are MADE

In his image and likeness

OUR POWER-depends

On the GRACE of God

“Then God said:

'Let us make MANKIND

In our image

In our likeness

So that they may RULE

OVER the fish and the sea

And the birds in the SKY

….......'”                                                                                                                        Genesis 1:26

“So GOD CREATED mankind

In his OWN IMAGE-

In the image of God

He created them

Male and female-he CREATED THEM”                                                                               Genesis 1:27

All of our power=COMES

From God

Because we are MADE

In his image=and=

In his likeness

GOD is with us=and-

ALWAYS working through us

And because we are

In HIS image and likeness

We must=GET TO WORK

So that ALL PEOPLE

May KNOW GOD'S LOVE

So that EVERYONE in this world

MAY get to know=

The BEAUTY of GOD'S power 

And LOVE=in their lives

“ONE thing-

I ask from the Lord

This ONLY-do I seek

That I may DWELL

In the house-of the Lord

All the DAYS

Of my life

To gaze on

The BEAUTY of the Lord

And to seek him

In his temple”                                                                                                                   Psalm 27:4

“YOUR beauty

Should NOT come

From outward adorning-

Such as elaborate hairstyles

And the wearing

Of gold jewelry-or fine clothing

RATHER it should be that

Of your INNER SELF

The UNFADING BEAUTY-

Of a GENTLE AND QUIET spirit

Which is=OF GREAT WORTH

In GOD'S SIGHT”                                                                                                          1 Peter 3:3-4

My friends=you were MADE

In the IMAGE AND LIKENESS

Of God

You were MADE out of

The LOVE OF GOD-

And because of HIS POWER 

You will LIVE FOREVER AND EVER=
