STAND UP FOR GOD
There seems to be
SO MUCH WRONG
In our world
And in our COUNTRY
These days
And yet that
Does NOT CHANGE our job
As our being CHRISTIANS
In this world
We are to LOVE GOD=
And we are to
LOVE ONE ANOTHER=
We are to pray
FOR OTHERS when they are falling
STAND UP for our world
Stand up for God-
Stand up for LOVE=and for
PEACE AND UNITY in this world
“The Lord lifts up
ALL who are FALLING=
And raises up
All who are bowed down” Psalm 145:14
Helping one another
TO STAND UP=is part
Of our calling
As CHRISTIANS=
And as FOLLOWERS as Jesus
We do this through
OUR WITNESSING=
And we do through ENCOURAGING
And supporting others
As they are FALLING
We need to help them
STAND BACK UP
We need to help them
Find the LOVE OF GOD
STAND UP for God
Stand up for others=
ENCOURAGE them to get BACK UP
And get it right
The NEXT TIME
“He lifted me out
Of the slimy pit=
Out of the mud
And mire
He set my feet
On a rock
And gave me
A firm place TO STAND” Psalm 40:2
“Jesus knew their thoughts
And said to them=
'Every kingdom divided
Against itself
Will be ruined
And every city or household
Divided against itself
WILL NOT STAND........” Matthew 12:25
That is where we ARE
As a nation=right now
We are DIVIDED
We need to BUILD a world
That is INCLUSIVE=
Where we all
Have a CHANCE
We need to HELP OTHERS
Get it right
When they FALL
We need to BUILD
A country and a world
That is INCLUSIVE FOR ALL
We need to ENCOURAGE OTHERS
To get back up
And get it right
STAND UP FOR GOD!
“You too=be patient
And STAND FIRM
Because the Lord's coming
Is near” James 5:8
Let us WITNESS to God
Let us witness to LOVE=
Let us witness to INCLUSIVENESS
In today's world
STAND UP FOR GOD=
And for love
In Jesus' name=and in the FATHER'S NAME=whose name is LOVE
