MOVED TO ACT!

 

Jesus NEVER HESITATED=to help someone=at any time

EVEN on the Sabbath day=Jesus said to a man=with

A withered hand=”COME UP=and stand before us”                                    

He then asked a QUESTION of the ONLOOKERS=Is it lawful

To HEAL on the Sabbath day?=Jesus did not wait=for an answer

For he was=MOVED TO ACT!=”On a ……..Sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue

And taught=and there was a MAN THERE=whose right hand was withered

The Scribes and pharisees watched him closely…….”                                                                          Luke 6:6-7A

 

Jesus was a man=who was=FILLED WITH COMPASSION=He

Was God=He saw a NEEED=and he filled=He was

MOVED TO ACT!

 

Jesus could NOT STAND=to see this man=to see this person SUFFERING=

He could not stand=to see anyone SUFFER=anyone hurting=Neither can I

HOW ABOUT YOU?

 

Jesus FILLED THE NEEDS=of every person=in this world=He offers us

SALVATION=all we have to do=IS SAY YES=and be MOVED TO ACT TOO!

 

“……..so that all people=may know of your MIGHTY ACTS=and the

Glorious splendor of your kingdom”                                                                                                         Psalm 145:12

 

“Praise him=for his ACTS OF POWER=praise him for his surpassing

Greatness”                                                                                                                                                  Psalm 150:2

 

“In the same way=faith by itself=if it is not accompanied by action=

Is dead”                                                                                                                                                                   James 2:7

 

Jesus was=FULL OF COMPASSION=for every human being

Who was HURTING=and needing help=HIS COMPASSION was=so deep

It always MOVED HIM TO ACT!=to help someone else=Jesus was=is

THE FULFILLMENT=of the law=Full of compassion=MOVED TO ACT!

Are you and I=like that too?

 

Jesus we THANK YOU=for YOUR COMPASSIONATE HEALING for us=

We thank you=for giving yourself to us=NO MATTER what the cost=REVEALING

God’s love to us=and always being MOVED TO ACT!=because of

ALL the compassion you feel for everyone

 

“But you are a forgiving God=Gracious and COMPASSIONATE=slow

To anger=abounding in love”                                                                                                               Nehemiah 9:17

 

“Even in darkness=light dawns=for the upright=for those who

Are gracious=AND COMPASSIONATE=and righteous”                                                         Psalm 112:4

 

“Finally all of you=be like-minded=be sympathetic=love one another=

BE COMPASSIONATE and humble”                                                                                                 1 Peter 3:8

 

Dear Lord=we thank you=FOR your compassionate love=in all

INSTANCES=for everyone=We thank you for ALWAYS being ready

And to move and to act=MOVED TO ACT!=And

 

We thank you=for that day=in the synagogue=and for HEALING

The man with the withered hand=ON THE SABBATH=despite the risk

For yourself=You were always ready=and MOVED TO ACT!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving

FOREVER HEALING=Our Holy Father God!
