You-you’re down on your luck

You say

You don’t have a friend

You say that no one cares                                                                                       

I tell you

That’s not true

 

You have a friend

A friend

You have a friend in me

 

 If you’re thinking

Of giving up

Because you have no one to care

I tell you

That that’s not true

You may not know me
