ASKING QUESTIONS=MAKING COMPARISONS


It is a NATURAL
Human action=in this world


To ask questions
For us=to COMPARE
Ourselves=with others


It is natural=but it is
NOT RIGHT
Who is better looking?
Who has more money?
Who do you think
Is a MORE SPIRITUAL PERSON?


Even the DISCIPLES=Jesus' disciples
Fell into this TRAP


“The disciples approaches Jesus
And said
'WHO is the greatest
In the KINGDOM
Of heaven?'” Matthew 18:1


And they also such
QUESTIONS as
“Who will be first?”
And-”Who will be at
YOUR right hand?”


And Jesus-of course-
Had a great answer
For every question


Just IMAGINE how startled
The APOSTLES must have been
When Jesus called over
A YOUNG CHILD


And pointing out
What it is to
Have a TRUSTING
And loving relationship
With God


“Then he said to them=
'Whoever welcomes
THIS LITTLE CHILD
In my name
Welcomes me


And whoever welcomes me
Welcomes the ONE
Who sent me


For it is the one
Who is LEAST among you all
Who is the GREATEST'” Luke 9:48


Sometimes=when we ask questions
We get ANSWERS
That we don't like


And sometimes
When we make COMPARISONS
We come out
On the SHORT END
Of the stick


Asking questions-
Making comparisons
Is done in this world
NOT IN GOD'S


For God loves us all=EQUALLY
He is a loving-
COMPASSIONATE God


Who CARES for us all=
Equally=and our
INDIVIDUAL SITUATIONS


“........who redeems
Your life from the pit
And crowns you


With love
And COMPASSION” Psalm 103:4


It is us human beings
Who ASK the dumb questions
And make comparisons
AMONG ONE ANOTHER


Our God is a LOVING-
FORGIVING God=a compassionate GOD


Who LOVES US ALL


In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our LOVING-COMPASSIONATE FATHER
