ON A DEMANDING JOURNEY


We are all
On a DEMANDING JOURNEY
Through life


Jesus RECOGNIZES this
And he tells us
To pick up OUR CROSSES
And FOLLOW HIM


Who better to FOLLOW
In life=than our Lord
And Savior Jesus Christ


Who conquered everything
INCLUDING DEATH


“Then Jesus said
To his disciples
'Whoever wishes


To come after me
Must DENY himself
Take us his cross
AND FOLLOW ME'” Matthew 16:24


Yes we have all
KINDS of crosses=and
It is indeed
A DEMANDING JOURNEY


We have our physical CROSSES=
One day our bodies
Will completely FAIL US


We have constant financial PRESSURES
From all different sources


And we have CONTINUOUS
Relationship challenges=some people
Are just so darn difficult


The CROSSES OF LIFE=yes a
Very DEMANDING JOURNEY


“But God said to him
'You FOOL!
This very night


Your life
Will be DEMANDED
From you


Then who will get
What you
Have prepared for yourself?'” Luke 12:20


“From everyone
Who has been given much
Much will be DEMANDED


And from the one
Who has been entrusted


With much-
MUCH will be asked” Luke 12:48


I have learned
Through life
To PICK UP my crosses


And deal with them
As BEST as I can
I have learned
To relinquish control
TO GOD


When I do this
I EXPERIENCE greater joy
And freedom


It is indeed
A DEMANDING JOURNEY


“In spite of this
You did not trust
In the Lord
Your God


Who went ahead of you
On the JOURNEY
….....
And to
Show you the way
You should go” Deuteronomy 1:32-33


“Again it will be
Like a man
Going on a JOURNEY


Who called his servants
And entrusted his wealth
To them” Matthew 25:14


Yes my friends=we are
On a DEMANDING JOURNEY
Through this life


Pick up your CROSSES
And follow our Lord
And Savior=Jesus
The every best
THAT YOU CAN


Dear Lord=please give us
COURAGE AND WISDOM when our crosses
Want to make us SURRENDER


In Jesus' name=and in the name of our always LEADING FATHER
