Do you REMEMBER
When you were young-
Or a TEENAGER


And you would ASK
Your parents something
And they would say=”No-
It IS for your own GOOD?”


It probably was
And they would say NO-
Because they LOVE YOU
“The DISCIPLINE OF LOVE”


“At the time
The DISCIPLINE Seems a cause


NOT for joy
But for pain........” Hebrews 12:11


It is the SAME WAY
With God and Jesus


If they say NO to you
On something


Or they say
“NOT RIGHT NOW”
Or maybe later
It is the DISCIPLINE
OF LOVE


You never doubted
That your parents
LOVED YOU


NEVER DOUBT
That God and Jesus
Love you too


God and Jesus
Want what is BEST
For you


Sometimes it is just
“THE DISCIPLINE OF LOVE”


“BLESSED is the one
You DISCIPLINE Lord


The one you teach
From your law” Psalm 94:12


“Whoever LOVES DISCIPLINE
Loves knowledge


Whoever hates correction
Is stupid” Proverbs 12:1


“DISCIPLINE me Lord
But only
In due measure--------


NOT in your anger
Or you will reduce me
To NOTHING” Jeremiah 10:24


You never doubted
That your parents
LOVED you


Never doubt that
God and Jesus LOVE YOU TOO
They only WANT
What is BEST FOR YOU


If they correct you
It is
ONLY for your own good


Saint Paul=gives a
Great DEFINITION of love
In ONE Corinthians


“Love is patient-
Love is KIND-
It does not envy


It does not boast
It is not proud
It does not dishonor others


It is NOT self-seeking
It is not easily angered
It keeps NO RECORD
Of wrongs


LOVE dose not delight
In evil=but REJOICES
With the truth


It always protects
Always trusts=always hopes
Always perseveres=
LOVE NEVER FAILS” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8


My friends=that is
HOW THE LORD
Feels about you


He will NOT fail you=
THE DISCIPLINE OF LOVE!
