DO YOU GET IT?

DO YOU GET IT?


I have a FRIEND
Who ALWAYS used to tell me=
“You get it-Bob” and
“You are AUTHENTIC”


I think what she MEANT
By that is that I
GET the IMPORTANCE of LIFE
And that I GET the
TEACHINGS OF CHRIST


Our lives are SO IMPORTANT
And we ONLY get one chance
At it


“What IF I wish to GIVE
The last one the SAME
As you?


Or am I NOT FREE
To do as I WISH
With my money?” Matthew 20:14-15


Of course the owner is
FREE to PAY how he or
She wishes


What we are TALKING about is
TODAY'S GOSPEL


Paying the WORKERS the SAME
Day's wages=regardless of what
TIME they were hired
(9am=noon=or 5pm)


WHO gets the wages?
Of course-they ALL get the SAME
In Jesus' KINGDOM


Dear Lord=help us
To be AUTHENTIC
In today's world


Help us
To SHARE what we have
WITH OTHERS


Do you get it?
WE ALL DO!


Our God
Is a GENEROUS GOD


“GOOD will come
To those who are GENEROUS
And lend freely


Who CONDUCT their affairs
With justice” Psalm 112:5


“The generous
Will themselves BE BLESSED


For they SHARE their food
With the poor” Proverbs 22:9


“But now
As for what is INSIDE you
-BE GENEROUS-
To the poor


And everything will be CLEAN
For you” Luke 11:41


And I have a COUSIN
Who says=BASICALLY


What goes around.........=
GIVE and you will GET BACK
Though=NOT NECESSARILY=
From the same person or people
That you gave to


SHE GETS IT=do you?
Always GIVE what you can
WHEN you can=
To help those LESS FORTUNATE


DO YOU GET IT?
Do you GET the TEACHINGS
Of Christ?


Be AUTHENTIC!=be real!
SHARE what you have
With others


BE GENEROUS!


“A generous person
Will PROSPER


WHOEVER refreshes others
Will be REFRESHED” Proverbs 11:25

Have been given


And be AUTHENTIC PEOPLE
