SEARCHING FOR PEARLS


Do you know
What a PEARL is?


A pearl is a HARD OBJECT
Produced within the soft tissue
(specifically the mantle)
Of LIVING shelled mollusk
Or other animal


The pearl has become a
METAPHOR-for something RARE-
Fine-admirable-and VALUABLE


They are a SYMBOL of
BEAUTY and PURITY-much like
The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN for people


“Again=the KINGDOM of heaven
Is like a merchant
SEARCHING for fine pearls


WHEN he finds a pearl
Of great PRICE
He goes and SELLS all he has
And BUYS IT” Matthew 13:45-46


In other words=a PERSON
Would give EVERYTHING he has
To FIND a pearl


Or to LIVE in
The KINGDOM of Heaven


What wouldn't a Christian
GIVE UP-to find the kingdom of heaven
Right HERE on this earth?


To have God with us
Holding us up IN his love


What wouldn't we give up
To spend ETERNITY with God
And our FAMILY and FRIENDS?


To live ETERNALLY in LOVE
And HAPPILY ever after in heaven


SEARCHING FOR PEARLS
Searching for the Kingdom of heaven


“Then the Lord
Said to Moses


'You have seen
For YOURSELVES that I have
SPOKEN to you
From heaven'” Exodus 20:22


“The heavens declare
The GLORY of God


The skies proclaim
The WORK of his hands” Psalm 19:1


“And he will
Send his ANGELS
With a LOUD trumpet call


And they will GATHER
His elect
From the four winds


From one END
Of the heavens
To the other” Matthew 24:31


There is a HUNGER in us
-In ALL of us-to SEARCH
For that pearl
At a GREAT price


But what could be BETTER
Than spending ETERNITY in HEAVEN
With God and Jesus?


EVEN better than FINDING that pearl
Or hitting the lottery


God is RIGHT there with us
He IS walking with us
ALL the days of our lives


He is as CLOSE-as finding-
That pearl
He is THAT PEARL


He-GOD-he-Jesus-
He is the POT
At the end of the RAINBOW


He is as CLOSE-as close can be


“The Lord is CLOSE
To the brokenhearted


And saves those
Who are CRUSHED in spirit” Psalm 34:18


But in the end=I think that pearl
The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN=
Will find us


RIGHT THERE in the
BOTTOM of our hearts=when we find God=
When we FIND JESUS=
Spending ETERNITY TOGETHER with them


In the NAME of the Father
And his SON Jesus=our Lord
