JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH US


Jesus is ALWAYS with us
Even-at ALL HOURS
Of the night-even during
The FOURTH WATCH


“During the FOURTH WATCH
Of the night-


He came TOWARD them
WALKING on the sea” Matthew 14:25


Jesus is ALWAYS
WITH US


The ROMANS divided the night
Into 4 quarters-the 4^th watch
Was from 3-6am


So Jesus is even WITH US then=
Especially THEN=in the cold
Dark-lonely hours
Of the night


So just think how the
Apostles FELT=in the 4^th watch
In the middle of a storm


Jesus got into the boat
CALMED the sea-and
Calmed their fears


Just the way he CALMS us down-
WHEN we are all alone
In the 4^th watch
Of the night


Jesus is ALWAYS with us
He always CALMS our fears=
Just as he did
For the apostles


“THEY were glad
When it grew CALM


And he GUIDED them
To their desired haven” Psalm 107:30


“A hot-tempered person
STIRS up conflict


But the one who is PATIENT
CALMS a quarrel” Proverbs 15:18


“FOOLS give full vent
To their rage


But the WISE-bring CALM
IN THE END” Proverbs 29:11


I have spent many DAYS
In the hospital-
OVER the years


Didn't particularly like
The 4TH WATCH there—so much
LONELINESS-so much stillness


It was EASY to get depressed
About health matters
Family matters-and the FUTURE


But there=ALONE & AWAKE=
I also FOUND God
I also found Jesus


WALKING with me
During the dark hours
Of the night


CALMING ME=walking with me
Just like he did the APOSTLES


“EVEN though I walk
Through the darkest valley


I will fear-no evil
For YOU are with me


Your rod and staff
They COMFORT ME” Psalm 23:4


“Whoever WALKS in integrity
Walks securely


But whoever takes crooked paths
Will be found out” Proverbs 10:9


My friends=have COURAGE
Jesus is ALWAYS with us


EVEN during the dark hours
Of the night
THAT 4^th WATCH=


ESPECIALLY then=for Jesus ALWAYS
WALKS WITH US
