THE HUMBLE CAN BE GREAT TOO


There are MANY ways to-GREATNESS-
In this world


It usually REQUIRES great effort-perseverance-
And OUTSTANDING TALENT-and you can
ACHIEVE great things


Usually what you achieve winds up
In a TROPY case-and it can lead to
Great wealth/or FAME


But MARY shows us
A different path to greatness
-A simple YES=and lots and lots
Of HUMILITY


“For he has LOOKED upon
His handmaid's lowliness;


BEHOLD-from now on
ALL AGES will call me BLESSED” Luke 1:48


A SIMPLE YES to God
A simple YES to an angel
And Mary embarks on a lifetime
BEGINNING


With CARRYING the SON
Of God-and ending in TRAGEDY-
ONLY to see her Jesus
RISE from the dead


There is MORE to GREATNESS
Than what we think=Mary
SHOWS us a different way


COMING from the least and
Lowly among us


Mary was GREAT because
Of her HUMILITY=let us
BE HUMBLE TOO


“'I am the LORD'S SERVANT,'
Mary answered
'MAY your word to me
BE FULFILLED'
Then the ANGEL left her” Luke 1:38


Let us ALL LEARN
To be HUMBLE like Mary
Let us all learn to BRING
Greatness from LOWLINESS


The HUMBLE
CAN BE GREAT TOO


“He GUIDES the HUMBLE
In what is right
And teaches them=HIS WAY” Psalm 25:9


“He mocks proud mockers
But shows FAVOR
To the HUMBLE
And oppressed” Proverbs 3:34


“TAKE my yoke and
Learn from me


For I am gentle
And HUMBLE of heart
And you


Will find REST for your souls
For my yoke is easy
And my burden is LIGHT” Matthew 11:29-30


Mary was HUMBLE=her SON-Jesus=
The SON OF GOD=was humble too


So humility is a
QUALITY OF GOD


Mary is different
In and through Mary-
God RAISES the humble to himself


HUMAN TALENT can indeed
Prove greatness=but in Mary
We LEARN
Greatness comes from the MIRACULOUS too


And in Mary's YES=
We learn the HUMBLE
CAN BE GREAT TOO
