FOLLOWING THE MASTER=UNTIL OUR VERY LAST DAY=
OF LIFE
Ac CHRISTIANS=we all
Have a few things to do
In this life
For one thing=we are
To KEEP PRAYED UP=
For another=we are to say and DO=
Act as GOD FOLLOWERS=Jesus following Christians
This is our job to do
UNTIL our very last=when God comes again=
Or until Jesus brings us HOME
“But to you WHO HEAR-I say……..”
Luke 6:27
The sixth chapter of
Saint Luke’s gospel=is a HANDBOOK
For living the Christian life
In his Sermon=on the Plain
Jesus speaks
Of both blessings and woes=BEFORE
Telling us how to treat
Our neighbors
FOLLOWING THE MASTER
Until our very last days=of our life
Jesus INCLUDES such advice
As these
‘DO GOOD to those=who hate you=
PRAY for those who mistreat you’
Luke 6:27-28
‘DO to others
As you would have them
DO TO YOU’” Luke
6:31
FOLLOWING the master
At ALL TIMES=UNTIL
The very end of our life
“The student is
Not above the teacher=
Nor a servant=above HIS MASTER” Matthew
10:24
“For sin=shall no longer
Be your MASTER
Because you are not under
The law=but under grace”
Romans
6:14
“Those who cleanse themselves
From the latter-will be instruments
For special purposes
Made holy-useful to the MASTER=
And prepared
To do any good work” 2
Timothy 2:21
Once upon a time=
I was on my deathbed=and
I made my final confession
To a Catholic Priest=I said
“To LIVE=for my family=
My friends=and ALL PEOPLE everywhere”
I MEANT THOSE WORDS=
And I plan on
Keeping them=
UNTIL THE VERY LAST DAY
OF MY LIFE=
Until my Lord and Savior
Calls me back home
UNTIL that last day=
COMES for each of us
KEEP FOLLOWING THE MASTER
And one day=you will hear
THE MOST GLORIOUS WORDS
This side of PARADISE
“WELL DONE=good and FAITHFUL SERVANT”
Matthew 25:21
So remember chapter six=
Of Saint Luke’s gospel=and
KEEP FOLLOWING THE MASTER=
ALL the days of your life
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LIVING-LOVING=God
