SEEING PEOPLE IN NEED!
We are the eyes=
We are the ears=
We are the HANDS
Of God=at least=as Christians
That is what
We are SUPPOSED to be=
When we someone IN NEED
Of help=we should help them
IF we can=
Giving what we can
SEEING PEOPLE IN NEED!
“If a brother or sister
Has nothing to wear-
And has no food
For the day
And one of you
Says to them
‘Go in peace-keep warm-
And eat well’
But you don’t give them
THE NECESSITIES of the body
What good is it?”
James
2:15-16
WE have brothers and sisters
All around us=SUFFERING
Every kind of hardship
They may NOT BE
Our blood relatives
But they are people
IN NEED
IF we can=we should HELP
We are called=to wish them
MORE than a good day
SEEING PEOPLE IN NEED!
“Do not be like them-
For your Father knows
WHAT YOU NEED-
Before you ask him”
Matthew 6:8
“Share with the Lord’s people-
Who are IN NEED=
Practice hospitality”
Romans 12:13
We MUST respond to people
In need-in whatever way
That we can
We must PROVIDE-
Whatever AID that we can=
We really are=the hands=
And the eyes and ears of God
SEEING PEOPLE IN NEED!
Helping people includes
ENCOURAGING them=
Includes good wishes
And includes PRAYERS for them
It also includes=whatever
PRACTICAL SUPPORT we can give
“The Lord=will guide you always
He will
SATISFY YOUR NEEDS
In a sun-scorched land
And will strengthen your frame”
Isaiah 58:11
“And my God
Will meet=ALL YOUR NEEDS
According to
The riches of his glory
In Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4:19
My dear friends=
Our HURTING brothers and sisters
Are everywhere
DO what you can
For them=and PRAY for them too
Wish them a good meal
And a warm home=
And then do
What you CAN=to help them
SEEING PEOPLE IN NEED!
In the name of Jesus=and our HOLY FATHER God=who supplies
all of our NEEDS!
