NEVER FORCED BY GOD

 

Our Lord Jesus=our God

The Holy Father

Wants us to have

 

A personal=LIFE-GIVING relationship

With him=that grows throughout

Our life

 

He wants us

TO DESIRE HIM=he wants us

To love him

He wants to

BE OUR FRIEND

 

“But Herod said=

‘John I beheaded=who then

 

Is this about-

WHOM I hear such things’

And he kept=trying to see him”                                                                                                Luke 9:9

 

Herod was FASCINATED by John=

Then he was fascinated-

By his cousin=Jesus

 

Herod had a DESIRE

To see Jesus

And a curiosity

To hear Jesus

 

HOW about you and me?

Do we have a DESIRE

To meet God

In the INNER CORE

Of our being?

 

We are NEVER

FORCED by God=

To reach out

To him

 

We are never

Forced by God=to meet him

To love him=

To live with him

IN OUR HEARTS

 

We are never forced

To reach out=

And READ THE GOOD BOOK

 

Jesus wants us

To ACCEPT HIM=but we

Are never forced

To accept hm

As our LOVING FRIEND

 

“Listen to advice

And ACCEPT discipline

 

And at the end

You will be counted

Among the wise”                                                                                                               Proverbs 19:20

 

“ACCEPT ONE ANOTHER-

Just as Christ ACCEPTED you=

In order

To bring praise to God”                                                                                                      Romans 15:7

 

“Therefore-get rid of

All moral filth

And the evil

 

That is so prevalent

And HUMBLY ACCEPT

 

The word planted in you=

Which can save you”                                                                                                               James 1:21

 

I am PRAYING

That we all

Have a desire for God

IN OUR LIFE

 

Jesus WAITS for us

He waits for us

To lovingly=open up his gift

Of LOVE for us

 

We must remember

We have to

GO TO GOD=he will

NEVER FORCE HIMSELF=upon us

 

GO to the Lord Jesus

He is waiting=

NEVER FORCED BY GOD!

 

“I WAITED PATIENTLY

For the Lord=

He turned to me

And heard my cry”                                                                                                         Psalm 40:1

 

“For the creation WAITS

In eager expectation

For the children of God

To be revealed”                                                                                                              Romans  8:19

 

Dear Lord=we know

YOU NEVER FORCE US

To come to you

 

INCREASE OUR DESIRE

To know you

And all of your joy
