BOTH DIVINE AND HUMAN

 

Jesus was BOTH divine

And human=and his bride

Was the CHURCH

 

Which makes his Church

Both divine and human too=

However=sometimes

I think the Church

Is a bit=too much HUMAN

 

But that is TRUE of us too

We are human!

ALL of us make mistakes

EXCEPT our Lord=and Savior

Jesus Christ!

 

“And I say to you-

You are Peter=

And upon this rock-

I will build MY CHURCH”                                                                                                    Matthew 16:18

 

In the words above

Jesus elevates Pater

As the leader=

Of the early Church=and

Appoints him as the first Pope

 

We have to REMEMBER

Our Church is ONE=no matter

How many

Different nominations there are

 

We are all ONE IN Christ

We are all=ONE in Jesus

The Church is Jesus’ Church

“MY CHURCH”

BOTH HUMAN AND DIVINE

 

“If they=still refuse

To listen=tell it

To the church

 

And if they refuse

To listen=to even the church

Treat them=as you

Would a pagan=or a tax collector”                                                                                  Matthew 18:17

 

“Praising God

And having favor

With all the people

 

And the Lord

Added to the CHURCH daily

Such as should be saved”                                                                                                           Acts 2:47

 

Our Lord Jesus

REMAINS the head of

The Church=and he

Invests his authority in Peter

Who says

“You are the CHRIST=the Son

Of the Living God”                                                                                                                        Matthew 16:16

 

Which makes this CHURCH

As much DIVINE

As it is human

 

And we have to

ASK OURSELVES

Who Christ is

Just like Peter

DIVINE AND HUMAN

 

“Through these-

He has given us

His very great

And precious promises

 

So that through them

You may participate

In the DIVINE NATURE

 

Having escaped the corruption

In this world-

Caused by evil desires”                                                                                                   2 Peter 1:4

 

Dear Lord=we pray to you

And your Church

That we carry

Your dual nature

BOTH DIVINE AND HUMAN

 

And that you REVEAL yourself to all of us

The true love

That is WITHIN YOU

 

So that we can truly BE

ONE CHURCH=divine and human

In this world

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name of our DIVINE FATHER=our Holy Father God!
