“The Touch of a Master’s Hand”
We live
In a world
That tells us
There is no sin
Sin doesn’t matter
We live
In a world
Full of selfishness
Full of intolerance
And full of
Ingratitude, indifference
And the rejection of other human beings
But we also live
In a world
That can be very kind
Particularly
At the birth of a child
And the death
Of a loved one
I know because
I have been touched
By God
And by family and friends
And Church
In these last
Number of weeks
So what changes us
From people
Of sin, selfishness, and rejection
To people of
Kindness and goodness
Beyond our own human understanding
I suggest
It is
The touch of God
In us and for us
The touch of God
For each other
To help one another
I suggest
It is simply
The touch of God
In each and every one of our lives
The touch of God
The touch of a Master’s Hand
