NO=IF YOU CAN MENTALITY=HERE
God CAN do anything=Jesus
Can do anything=all
TRUE BELIEVERS know this
But today=a father’s doubt
Betrays him=as he BEGS
For the physical HEALING
Of his son
“……..’IF YOU CAN do anything-
Have compassion on us
And help us’
Jesus said to him
‘IF YOU CAN!=everything is POSSIBLE
To one who has faith’”
Mark 9:22-23
I BELIEVE=I have seen it
First hand=God delivered me
From my death bed
WHEN I was22
And numerous times since then
WHEREVER there is a smidgeon
Of faith present=
Wherever there is belief
GOD CAN WORK MIRACLES!
There is=NO-IF YOU CAN-MENTALITY=
In me=I believe
How about you?
“BELIEVE in the Lord
Your God=
And you will be upheld
BELIEVE in his prophets
And you will prosper”
2 Chronicles 20:20
“LORD I BELIEVE=
Help my unbelief” Mark
9:24
( The boy’s son was healed)
“And by him-
All that BELIEVE
Are justified
When they cannot be set free
Under the law” Acts
13:39
Like the boy’s father
All of us suffer
From DOUBT=at times
All of us suffer
From that=IF YOU CAN MENTALITY
We let doubt creep in
We QUESTION GOD’S HELP
We wonder=”IF”
He can help us
This reading calls for us
TO REMOVE
That=”IF YOU CAN MENTALITY”
Jesus calls us
To have faith=to BELIEVE IN HIM
Hebrews 4:16 tells us
To approach God
WITH CONFIDENCE
“Let us then approach
God’s throne of grace
WITH CONFIDENCE
So that we may receive
Mercy and find grace
To help us=in our time of need”
Hebrews 4:16
God will always be there
For us=Jesus will always
Be there for us
If we just have
A TOUCH of faith
NO=IF YOU CAN=
MENTALITY HERE
Dear Lord=we pray
For you to help us
TO BELIEVE
That you can=and will do
Anything for us=and have CONFIDENCE
IN YOU
You can do anything=NO
IF YOU CAN=MENTALITY HERE
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God=who
CAN DO ALL THINGS!
