WITHOUT LIMITS!

 

WITHOUT LIMITS was a movie

From 1998=about the LIFE

Of long-distance runner=Steve Prefontaine=

Who ran in

The 1972 OLYMPICS=in Munich, Germany

 

But it is a term

We can STILL use today

About the life and POWER

Of Jesus Christ

Who WALKED this world=2,000 years ago

And ALL the love

HE STILL HAS for us today

 

And it should describe

THE LOVE we have for him

And our Holy God the Father!

 

“Whatever villages or towns

Or countryside-he entered

 

They laid the sick

IN THE MARKETPLACES

And begged him

 

That they might touch

ONLY the tassel

On his cloak

 

And as many

As touched it=WERE HEALED”                                                                          Mark 6:56

 

We read the Gospel accounts

Of the individual healings

Of Jesus

 

But we also KNOW=

HOW Jesus effected the masses

For example=

 

We have the HEALING

Of the 5,000

And probably the HEALING

Of a great many more

 

Jesus’ power was WITHOUT LIMITS!

His ability to heal us

Is UNLIMITED=even today

 

“Yes=they turned back

And tempted God

And LIMITED

The Holy One of Israel”                                                                                         Psalm 78:41

 

“Again=he LIMITED

A certain day=saying in David

 

Today after so long a time

As it is said

 

‘Today=if you hear his voice

Harden not your hearts’”                                                                                                               Hebrews 4:7

 

I WONDER if today

We as his people=

Don’t see as many MIRACLES

 

Because we as a people

Have such hard hearts

SOFTEN UP GUYS!

Believe in God=Believe

In Jesus=WITHOUT LIMITS!

 

Maybe we NEED

To turn back to God

TURN back to Jesus today

And become a

LITTLE MORE HUMBLE

 

And believe=NOT so much in

Our own power

BUT on the power of God

And the power of Jesus

 

“But Job answered and said

‘How can you help him

That is WITHOUT POWER?

How can you save the arm

That has no strength?’”                                                                                              Job 26:2

 

“To whom they all

Gave heed

 

From the least

To the greatest saying=

‘This man is

THE GREAT POWER OF GOD’”                                                                                    Acts 8:10

 

We NEED to turn back

To Jesus=and the

GREAT FATHER God!

 

Relying=WITHOUT LIMITS!

On the GREAT POWER OF GOD!
