DO YOU REMEMBER?
Today the apostles
Seem to have FORGOTTEN
Some of
Jesus’ most RECENT MIRACLES
How about us?
DO WE REMEMBER?=what God and Jesus
Have done for us
On the PAST?
Do we REMEMBER all
The tough situations
He has PULLED us out of BEFORE?
“And do you not REMEMBER
When I broke
The five loaves
For the five thousand=how many
Wicker baskets
Full of fragments=You picked up?”
Mark 8:18-19
It is easy
To laugh at the DISCIPLES
As we recall the
Well-known story of Jesus
FEEDING 5,000 people
Like Jesus=we too
SHAKE our heads in wonder
But when we have
NEW TROUBLES=DO WE REMEMBER?
All the past times
Jesus and God
PULLED us out
Of so many tough situations?
It is a classic case of
“WHAT have you done
For me lately?”
DO WE REMEMBER=God the Holy
Father=and his Son
SAVING US
So many times in the past?
“And so it shall be
Up to us
That you may look upon it
AND REMEMBER
All the commandments=of the Lord
And do them”
Numbers 15:39
“REMEMBER his marvelous works
That he has done
His wonders
And the judgments
Of his mouth”
Psalm
105:5
“All they asked
Was that we should continue
TO REMEMBER=the poor
The very thing
I had been eager to do=all along” Galatians
2:10
We have all
The EVEIDENCE of God
Helping us=to move forward
Yet we wonder
Yet we forget=We don’t
Have the FAITH
We need
GOD’S EVIDENCE is piled up
All around us
Baskets of fish
BUCKETS OF MEMORIES
DO YOU REMEMBER?
How God has helped you
In the past?
“O house of Aaron-
Trust in the Lord
He is OUR HELP=and our shield”
Psalm 115:10
It is TIME
To gather OUR MEMORIES
And plunge boldly
Into the future
DO YOU REMEMBER?
In Jesus’ name=and in the Name=of our EVER PRESENT
Holy Father God!
