SEEKING GOD

 

SEEKING GOD!

There is ONE thing that

Almost all of us

Have in common

We are seeking God

We are SEEKING a

RELATIONSHIP with God=we DESIRE him

To be present

IN our lives

“He remained OUTSIDE

In deserted places

And people KEPT coming to him

From EVERYWHERE”                                                                                                Mark 1:45

In Jesus' day=there were no cars=

NO trains=no planes=

People TRUDGED along=on their feet

For miles=in HOPE

To FIND JESUS

They had many different reasons

To find him=but they all

SHARED the same thing

The DESIRE to be in Jesus'

Presence=and don't we have

That same desire TODAY?

Aren't we all

SEEKING GOD?”

“The loins may grow 

Weak and hungry

But those who SEEK the Lord

Lack no good thing”                                                                                             Psalm 34:10

“I love those

Who love me

And those who SEEK me=

FIND ME”                                                                                                            Proverbs 8:17

“But SEEK FIRST his kingdom

And his RIGHTEOUSNESS

And all these things

Will be GIVEN to you

As well”                                                                                                                 Matthew 6:33

Our desire to SEEK God-

PUSHES us in our daily lives

We read the BIBLE=

We PRAY=but he is NEVER

Far from us=

He is

LIVING in our hearts

And God is always PRESENT

In the world

That is swirling around

Us too

SEEKING GOD!  ALWAYS

We NEED this desire for God

Living in our hearts=for without it

We would NEVER take the TIME

To become AWARE of the

LOVING PRESENCE of God=

That PENETRATES all things

OUR DESIRE for God's presence

In our lives=is a GIFT

That God gives us=

We only need to ASK

We only NEED to show our desire

For his DIVINE PRESENCE=and this

Life-changing gift=is with us ALWAYS

“You Lord

Hear the DESIRE of the afflicted

You encourage them

And you LISTEN to their cry”                                                                                 Psalm 10:17

“The DESIRE of the righteous

Ends only in GOOD

But the HOPE

Of the wicked

Only in wrath”                                                                                            Proverbs 11:23

Dear Lord=we REJOICE in you=

And we rejoice in our desire to

Always SEEK YOU

And we thank you=

For LIVING in us=and

REVEALING your presence to us

We will be FOREVER SEEKING YOU!
