WHO HE IS!
Have you had
PERSONAL ENCOUNTERS with Jesus?
I do=all day
EVERY DAY=Thank you Lord
You are my EVERYTHING!
To me=ENCOUNTERING
My Lord and Savior
Every day=is a gift
I KEEP a running dialog with him
A prayer=if you will
WHO HE IS!
“You are the CHRIST”
Mark 8:29
We do NOT KNOW Jesus
In human form=so
I sometimes WONDER
How we can
Have faith in him
AND LOVE HIM
We do not know him
As we do
Another PERSON=but the Lord
LIVES in our hearts
And souls=knowing Jesus
KNOWING=WHO HE IS!
“And you=Solomon my son
KNOW your father God
And serve him
With a perfect heart
And with a willing mind
For the Lord=searches all hearts” 1
Chronicles 28:9
Despite NOT knowing Jesus personally
We have an INESCAPABLE CONVICTION
Of who JESUS IS!
In today’s gospel=if we didn’t know
Peter tells us=without hesitation
“You are THE CHRIST”
WHO HE IS!
How could he know that
UNLESS he had
A deep PERSONAL ENCOUNTER
With Jesus?
How can we know that
Unless we have
A DEEP PERSONAL ENCOUNTER with Jesus
In our prayer lives?
Knowing Jesus
KNOWING WHO HE IS!
“But he replied=
‘Truly I tell you-I don’t KNOW YOU’”
Matthew 25:12
“And hereby=we do KNOW
That we KNOW HIM
If we=keep his commandments”
1 John 2:3
Take just a minute
And SEARCH your hearts
Are you aware of God’s grace=
Of Jesus’ grace
INSIDE OF YOU?
Can you say
Just like Peter=
“You are the CHRIST”?
To know him=IS
To love him
WHO HE IS!
“I the Lord=
SEARCH the heart
I give to every man
According to his ways
And according
To the fruit=of his doings”
Jeremiah 17:10
Dear Lord=FATHER GOD
We thank you for the GIFT
OF FAITH
To always know
Who you are=WHO HE IS!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER FAITHFUL=Holy
Father God!
