EMPTYING OURSELVES!

Jesus was the most

HUMBLE person=whoever lived=

He EMPTIED himself

Of everything-

Before he died

And that is what WE

Have to do

With our lives=EMPTY OURSELVES!

Of almost everything

EXCEPT HUMILITY

“Whoever exalts himself

Will be HUMBLED=

But whoever HUMBLES himself

Will be exalted” Matthew 23:12

What we NEED more than

Anything=to live

The Christian life

Is the virtue of HUMILITY

Humility is the FOUNDATION

For all other CHRISTIAN values=

Everyone can use

A little more of that

We need to

EMPTY OURSELVES of everything

Except humility

“When pride comes-

Then comes disgrace

But with HUMILITY

Comes wisdom” Proverbs 11:2

“By the HUMILITY-

And gentleness of Christ=

I appeal to you--------

I-Paul=who am timid

When face to face

With you

But bold toward you

When away” 2 Corinthians 10:1

“Do nothing-

Out of selfish ambition

Or vain conceit

Rather in HUMILITY

Value others=above yourselves

Not looking to

Your own interests=

But each of yourselves

To the interests

Of the others” 2 Philippians 2:3-4

Humility sheds LIGHT

On our vanities

And our mistakes

And it EMPOWERS US

To live a life well-lived

With humility=we EMPTY OURSELVES

And we

Make more room

So God can

FILL us up with LOVE

So God can fill us

With what is GOOD=

What is true=and what

Is BEAUTIFUL

EMPTYING OURSELVES of all

But God=of all

BUT LOVE=of all

But what is true

“For you know

That it was-

Not with perishable things

Such as silver and gold

That you were redeemed

From the EMPTY WAY

Of life=

Handed down to you

From your ancestors

But with the precious blood

Of Christ=a lamb

Without blemish or defect” 1 Peter 1:18-19

Only by EMPTYING OURSELVES

Of our sins and our vices

Can we find the way

To LOVE=and live

In God's love

In this fallen world

In Jesus' name=and in the name of our HUMBLE HOLY FATHER GOD!
