IT IS ORDINARY FAITH

 

IT IS ORDINARY FAITH

ONCE there was a beggar

And a rich man=

Every day the beggar-

Named Lazarus=would ask

The rich man

For scraps from the table

For food=

But the rich man

Always IGNORED Lazarus

Eventually they both died

And the rich man went to Hades

And Lazarus to heaven

The rich man CRIED OUT

To Abraham=to send Lazarus

From the dead

To WARN his brothers

And FAMILY about what

Was to come

But Abraham would

Have NONE of it

“Then Abraham said=

'If they will NOT listen to Moses

And the prophets

Neither will-

They be persuaded=if someone

Should RISE from the dead'” Luke 16:31

And isn't that so TRUE=

We all KNOW

All the teachers

We all know

The REWARDS and potential punishments

And that is so true=

We find our rewards

In our ORDINARY FAITH

If the LAW and the prophets

Aren't enough=how can we

EXPECT a miracle to make sense

And we have Jesus=who did

RISE from the dead

We don't need to look

For any more

SPECTACULAR MIRACLES

All we need is

Our ordinary=

EVERY DAY FAITH

We just need to LISTEN to

Moses=to listen to JESUS=

Paul=and the other apostles

To listen to the

BLESSED MOTHER

And all the Saints=

And all holy-good people

Then we look to them

FOR OUR EXAMPLE=

It is in ordinary FAITH

That we find our miracles

“When they saw

The courage

Of Peter and John

And realized =that they were

Unschooled-ORDINARY men

They were astonished

And took note

That these men=had been with Jesus” Acts 4:13

ALL we have to do

Is look at Jesus

And the apostles

And then=put our faith

INTO ACTION

“In the same way

FAITH by itself

If it is=NOT accompanied

By ACTION=is dead” James 2:17

WHERE are the Lazaruses

In your life=that

NEED your help?

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS HELPFUL HOLY FATHER!
