WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS

The Jewish people

Had 613 laws=as well

As the ten commandments=

But Jesus had=JUST TWO

Love God=and love

Our neighbor as ourselves=

And he told us

To CARRY those laws of LOVE

On our hearts

WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS

“I will place my law

Within them=and WRITE IT

Upon their HEARTS

I will be their God

And they shall be

My people” Jeremiah 31:33

It is a FASCINATING PROCEDURE

On how ideas and written

Pieces of paper

Become laws=in our country

And these laws

HOLD our community together

Laws properly written

And lived by

LEAD TO HARMONY

And ensure JUSTICE for all

What a world

This would be=if we

ALL actually lived

The laws of LOVE

That are SUPPOSED to be

Written on our HEARTS

“But at that time

Your people=everyone whose name

Is found WRITTEN in the book=

Will be delivered” Daniel 12:1

“However=do not rejoice

That the spirits

Submit to you

But rejoice that your names

Are WRITTEN in heaven” Luke 10:20

“But these are WRITTEN

That you may believe

That Jesus=is the Messiah

The Son of God

And that by believing

You may have LIFE

In his name” John 20:31

God's laws

Are WRITTEN IN OUR HEARTS

In love

God's laws are FOUND

In the Old Testament=

And are REINFORCED

By the teachings=of Jesus

They are written

On the hearts

Of the Lord's faithful

And HELP US

To recognize

The CENTRAL PLACE

Of God-in our hearts

Yes=God is God

The giver of all life=

The giver of ALL LOVE

And these laws of LIFE AND LOVE

Instill in us

The two great commandments

“'The most important one'

Answered Jesus=

'Is this='Hear O Israel

The Lord our God-

The Lord is one

LOVE the Lord your God-

With all your heart

And with all your soul

And with all your mind

And with all your strength'

The second is this

'LOVE your neighbor

as yourself'

There is no commandment

Like these” Mark 12:29-31

Dear Lord=we pray

LET these two commandments

Be WRITTEN=on

ALL OF OUR HEARTS

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our God=whose NAME IS LOVE!
