HUMILITY=THE GREAT LESSON OF GOD

ONE of the great LESSONS-

We can LEARN from Jesus

And his life

IS HUMILITY

He TAUGHT us then=

That the LAST shall be first

And that we should

PUT OTHERS=ahead of ourselves

As he ALWAYS DID

The psalmist today

CONCURS with the Lord=

With this lesson

On humility

“Good and upright

Is the Lord=

Thus he shows sinners

The way

He guides the HUMBLE

In justice=

He teaches the HUMBLE

His way” Psalm 25:8-9

So MANY of us-

Like to think

That we are IN CONTROL

Of our lives

But COVID came along=

A year ago=

And has DISMANTLED

Many of our lives

Every one of us

Could probably WRITE a book

On how COVID

Has CHANGED our lives

The great LESSON of our time

IS HUMILITY=

NOW is a great time

To LOOK to God=

And to look to the EXAMPLE

Of Jesus and his life

And try to LIVE a humble

You first kind of life=

PUT ON HUMILITY!

“By the HUMILITY

And gentleness of Christ-------

I-Paul=who am timid

When face to face

With you

But bold toward you

When away” 2 Corinthians 10:1

“Do nothing=out of selfish ambition

Or vain conceit

Rather in HUMILITY

Value others=above yourselves

Not looking=to your own interests

But each of you

To the interests of others” Philippians 2:3-4

Our lives=are not

IN our own control=

None of us=

Can PREDICT-

What is going to happen next=

Especially during this time

Of COVID

Humility=the GREAT LESSON

From God=

Let us LEARN FROM Jesus

“Take my yoke upon you=

And LEARN from me-

And you will find rest

For your souls” Matthew 11:29

Dear Lord God=God of

WISDOM and strength=

We stand HUMBLY before you

Looking for your GUIDINANCE and

Teaching=and you

Showing us=THE HUMBLE WAY

In the names of Jesus=and our EVER TEACHING HOLY FATHER God
