IN the PRESENCE of God

We find peace=

In the presence of Jesus

We find peace=

CENTER YOURSELF ON GOD!

 

“At once Jesus

Spoke to them=

‘Take courage-

It is I=

Do not be AFRAID’”                                                                                                                  Matthew 14:27

 

Jesus spent himself=Ministering

To a crowd=

Then he climbs up

A mountain=seeking some QUIET

Restorative time=to PRAY ALONE

 

To CENTER HIMSELF

With God his Father

 

WHEN evening arrives

And the night comes=

He returns

 

To FIND his disciples terrified

As their boat

Is being BATTERED

By violent wind and waves

 

Jesus calms them=he tells them

“DON’T BE AFRAID”

 

That is something

We all NEED to hear

In our world=with so

Many things going on

Especially COVID

 

Don’t be afraid

CENTER YOURSELF on God=and Jesus

 

“That night

The Lord appeared to him

And said

 

‘I am the God

Of your Father Abraham

 

DO NOT BE AFRAID-

For I am with you

I will bless you

 

And will increase the number

Of your descendants=

For the sake

Of my servant Abraham”                                                                                  Genesis 26:24

 

“The Lord is my light

And my salvation--------

WHOM SHALL I FEAR?”                                                                                           Psalm 27:1

 

CENTER YOURSELVES on God!

And Jesus=with them

You can OVERCOME everything

 

Don’t be afraid=

That is easier said=

Than done=particularly

With all of our problems

In the world today

 

That is what makes the

DIFFERENCE in our lives too=

THE PRESENCE OF JESUS=

With the presence of Jesus

WE CAN OVERCOME!

 

“And I tell you=

That you are Peter

And on this rock

I will build my church

 

And the gates of Hades

Will not OVERCOME IT……..”                                                                                   Matthew 16:18

 

“……..for everyone born of God

OVERCOMES the world

 

This is the victory

That has

OVERCOME the world

Even our faith”                                                                                                         1 John 5:4

 

SO CENTER YOURSELF on God

And you will overcome everything

Even your crises=even your anguish

And anxiety

 

CENTER YOURSELF on God and Jesus

Center yourself in prayer

And you will OVERCOME

The losses=your losses=in this world

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of God=our ever OVERCOMING VICTORIOUS Father
