INSTRUMENTS OF PEACE AND JUSTICE
(IN THIS WORLD)
EVERY DAY=people
Are COMPLAINING about
Their lack of justice
In one situation
Or another
They want to RIGHT
A wrong or
FIGHT for equality
“Praise the Lord=MY SOUL!
The God of Jacob
KEEPS faith forever
Secures JUSTICE
For the oppressed........” Psalm 146:1, 5, 7
This psalm REMINDS US
That justice COMES from
The HEART and mind of God
GOD'S JUSTICE cares
For the oppressed=the hungry=
And the captive souls
This PSALM begins and ends
By PRAISING God
With a GRATEFUL HEART
And ONCE we achieve
A grateful heart=it is OUR JOB
To be INSTRUMENTS
Of peace and justice
In the world
JUST like the LORD
“The Lord
Gives strength to his people
The Lord BLESSES his people
With PEACE” Psalm 29:11
“You will go out
In joy=and be led forth
In PEACE
The mountains and hills
Will BURST into song
Before you
And all the trees
Of the field
Will CLAP their hands” Isaiah 55:12
When we are GRATEFUL
When we feel gratitude
It gives birth
To JUSTICE
We thank God for the
GIFT of life=HOW PRECIOUS!
A GRATEFUL HEART holds
No resentment and casts anger aside
When we let go of
Our selfishness=GOD'S JUSTICE
Does reign
And it is our job
To WORK WITH GOD and be
INSTRUMENTS OF PEACE and JUSTICE
In this world
“For he has set a day
When we will judge
The world with JUSTICE
By the man
He has appointed
He has given PROOF
Of this=to everyone
By RAISING HIM
From the dead” Acts 17:31
GOD'S JUSTICE will reign
In this world=when we become
INSTRUMENTS OF PEACE
And JUSTICE in this world
When this happens=the oppressed
Will be FREE=and the
Poor will be fed
