GIVING OF OURSELVES!

 

I can’t count as HIGH

As the number of people

Who have HELPED ME

During my lifetime

 

Either with financial help

Or just by the AFFIRMATION

Of the people=who

Have SUPPORTED my work=

I have been so BLESSED!

 

BELIEVING in God-Jesus-LOVE-

Family and friends=

GIVING OF OURSELVES!

 

And I always try

To HELP OTHERS=by giving

Back to them

WHERE=and when I can

Our God

Is a LOVING GOD

Our God

Is a GIVING GOD!

 

“Whoever sows sparingly

Will also reap sparingly

 

And whoever SOWS BOUNTIFULLY

Will also reap bountifully”                                                                                                2 Corinthians 9:6

 

GIVING OF OURSELVES!

Giving of yourself

 

Doing what you can

To help others

ALONG the way=on their journey

 

“They read

From the BOOK

Of the Law of God

 

Making it clear

And GIVING the meaning

So that the people understood

What was being read”                                                                                                        Nehemiah 8:8

 

“The precepts of the Lord

Are right

GIVING JOY to the heart

 

The commands of the Lord

Are radiant

GIVING LIGHT to the eyes”                                                                                             Psalm 19:8

 

“……..so that YOUR GIVING

May be done in secret

 

Then your Father

Who sees what is done

In secret=will reward you”                                                                                             Matthew 6:4

 

In whatever way=

You have SHARED with me

ESPECIALLY your prayers=

It has really TOUCHED ME

 

The fruits of your GENEROSITY

Of all of you

Are VISIBLE in what

I have become

And who I am BECOMING

 

I LIVE in God’s love=and I

Live for=to try and GIVE

That love back to others

 

Giving of myself

GIVING OF OURSELVES!

 

“But since you excel

In everything--------

In faith-in speech-and knowledge

In complete earnestness

 

And in the love

We have kindled

In you-------

 

See that you also excel

In this GRACE OF GIVING”                                                                                            2 Corinthians 8:7

 

Christ emptied himself

For all of us=for all people

BELIEVERS and nonbelievers alike

 

I hope to GIVE

All of myself for

The Holy Father God=for Jesus

And all of you

 

When you give of yourself

EXPECTING nothing in return=

You are living like God

You are living like Jesus=

You are living

Like the COMMUNITY of Saints

Both named=and unnamed

 

So THANK YOU to all of you=

You have touched my life

IN more ways=than you will ever know

 

And I HOPE I have touched yours

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER GIVING Holy Father God
