PAY ATTENTION TO GOD!

 

PAY ATTENTION TO GOD!

 

We may think=in TODAY’S WORLD

That we

Do NOT worship idols

 

Afterall=we don’t worship

FALSE gods or create false temples

 

But what about our CELL PHONES=

Our bank accounts=our sports teams=

Alcohol and=pornography

And who knows=WHAT ELSE?

 

PAY ATTENTION TO GOD!=

Make him number one=

IN your life

 

“BLESSED the man

Who MAKES the Lord=his trust

Who turns not to IDOLATRY……..”                                                                                         Psalm 40:5

 

We SURE could use

A LOT more God

In our lives=we sure

Could use

A lot MORE of the Lord=

OF HIS LOVE!

 

Shift your focus!

Shift your ATTENTION!

PAY ATTENTION to God

Our Lord

 

“Listen my sons=

To a Father’s instruction

PAY ATTENTION=and gain understanding”                                                                               Proverbs 4:1

 

“My son=PAY ATTENTION

To my wisdom

 

Turn your ear=

To my words of insight”                                                                                                          Proverbs 5:1

 

WHAT can we do

To bring MORE GOD

Into our world?

What can we do

To make God

MORE VISIBLE in our life?

 

I think that is

THE QUESTION=we all

Have to ask ourselves?

 

Shifting our FOCUS

Back to God=

Making God a PRIORITY

In our lives=OVER

Every other thing that there is

In this MODERN DAY 21^st century

 

It is a PRIVILEGE

To have God=in our lives=

It is a privilege=for all God

Has done for us=we should live

LIKE HE IS NUMBER ONE!

 

“……..they urgently pleaded

With us=for the PRIVILEGE

 

Of sharing in this service

To the Lord’s people”                                                                                                          2 Corinthians 8:4

 

“PAY ATTENTION=

And turn your ear

To the sayings=of the wise

 

Apply your heart

To what I teach”                                                                                                           Proverbs 22:17

 

“……..and will PAY NO ATTENTION

To Jewish myths

 

Or to the merely

Human commands

Of those=who reject the truth”                                                                                   Titus 1:14

 

I WONDER

What kind of world

We would LIVE IN

 

If instead of CHECKING

Our cell phones=or some other thing=

WE CHECKED=and read our bibles

 

Let us CHALLENGE OURSELVES

To Change our attention

And PAY MORE ATTENTION TO GOD!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS focusing God the HOLY FATHER!
