THE GENEROSITY OF GOD!

 

We worship a GENEROUS God=

We all know that

He GIVES US way more back

Than we give to him

 

The parable today speaks to

That=It is the parable

Of a LANDOWNER hiring workers

And the landowner pays

Those who work one hour

THE SAME as those

Who work a full day=

Our God is a generous God

THE GENEROSITY OF OUR GOD!

 

“What if I wish

To GIVE this last one

The SAME as you?

 

Or am I not free

To do as I wish

With my own money?

 

Are you envious

Because I am GENEROUS?”                                                                                             Matthew 20:14-15

 

SOME of the workers

Who worked a FULL DAY

Begin grumbling

 

Because the landowner

Paid all the workers

For a FULL DAY

 

Whether they worked

One hour or eight hours=

Some are NOT HAPPY

With the landowner’s generosity

 

“God will come

To those who are GENEROUS

And lend freely

 

Who conduct their affairs

With justice”                                                                                                                          Psalm 112:5

 

“The GENEROUS

Will themselves=be blessed

 

For they share their food

With the poor”                                                                                                                  Proverbs 22:9

 

“So I thought it necessary

To urge the brothers

To visit you

 

In advance and finish

The arrangements

For the GENEROUF GIFT

You had promised

 

Then it will be ready

As a GENEROUS GIFT=not as one

Grudgingly given”                                                                                                              2 Corinthians 9:5

 

Our God is a generous God=

Our God is a FAIR GOD!

 

All were given a fair wage

For their work=

TODAY’S PARABLE

 

Is NOT a question of fairness

It is a question

Of someone

COVETING someone else’s good fortune

 

My friends=WHEN have we

Given something to God=

Or to others

 

That God hasn’t paid

Us back more=

Or in some other way

 

Our God is a generous God=

THE GENEROSITY OF GOD!

 

“Command them=to do good=

To be rich in good deeds

And to be GENEROUS

And willing to share”                                                                                                           1 Timothy 6:18

 

OUR GOD=IS A GENEROUS GOD!

Be willing to SHARE your time=money

And PRAYERS=with him=and with others

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our always GENEROUS Holy Father God!
