WAITING ON GOD!

 

WAITING ON GOD!

 

We all SEEK to be

UNITED with God and Jesus=

But each day comes and goes

And we are left=

WAITING FOR THE LORD!

Waiting for God=waiting

For his HOLY LOVE!

 

“Since the bridegroom

Was long delayed

They all became drowsy=and fell asleep”                                                                      Matthew 25:5

 

Sometimes we feel=the lack of

God to act=sometimes the idea of WAITING

In a particular situation         

Is extremely frustrating

 

Sometimes we feel the lack

Of God’s presence and

WONDER WHY

 

In spite of God’s love for us

We feel tired

We feel hungry

We feel ALL ALONE!

 

We have a LONGING

For God to act

We get TIRED of waiting

WAITING FOR GOD!

 

NOW might be

One of those times

 

The situation with COVID=

The disaster in Afghanistan

The great political divide

 

WHEN is God going to come

And make things right?

DRAW things to him

WAITING FOR GOD!

 

“WAIT for the Lord=

Be strong and take heart

And WAIT for the Lord”                                                                                                 Psalm 27:14

 

“I WAIT for the Lord

My whole being WAITS

 

And in his word

I put my hope”                                                                                                                     Psalm 130:5

 

“For the Lord

Is a GOD of justice

Blessed are all

Who WAIT for him”                                                                                               Isaiah 30:18

 

We should not condemn

THE WAITING=

We should not condemn

Our waiting=our frustrations

DESIRE GOD!=keep on

Waiting for him

 

He came for Jesus

And the apostles=

He will come for us too

But I don’t know when

WAITING on=waiting FOR GOD!

 

“On one occasion

While he was=eating with them

He gave them this command

 

‘Do not leave Jerusalem

But WAIT for the gift

My Father promised

 

Which you have heard me

Speak about…….’”                                                                                                                 Acts 1:4

 

“……..while we WAIT

For the blessed hope-------

 

The appearing of the glory

Of our GREAT God and Savior-Jesus Christ”                                                                            Titus 2:13

 

I know it get tiresome=

I know we get BORED=

But stay close to God

And KEEP ON WAITING

 

Stay close to God=to family=

To loving friends=

WAITING ACKNOWLEDGES

That we are powerless=to save ourselves

WAITING ON GOD!=trust him to come

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER PATIENT HOLY FATHER God!
