RECEIVING THE FIERY GIFTS OF THE LORD!
Every day that we PRAY=
Every day that we RECEIVE
The GIFTS of God
And Jesus=the HOLY SPIRIT
Touches us=and we RECEIVE
The gifts=we undergo=A SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION!
Today we read
In the Old Testament=in Daniel
About the ANCIENT ONE
And how he=took his THRONE
“His THRONE was flames of FIRE-
With wheels pf burning FIRE
A surging stream of FIRE
Flowed out=from where he sat”
Daniel 7:9-10
And we know from God=and Jesus
That the HOLY SPIRIT
Is just that=FIRE
RECEIVE THE FIERY GIFTS=OF THE LORD!
This description is AWESOME-
This description=is scary
And this description
Is mysterious
ALL THAT FIRE=
What does it mean?
Fire TRANSFORMS US
Into SOLDIERS of God and Jesus
It thaws frozen hearts
And PIERCES the darkest souls=
And provides a WAY for us
To what lies ahead
RECEIVING THE FIERY GIFTS OF THE LORD!
“Is not the word LIKE FIRE’
Declares the Lord
‘And like a hammer
That breaks a rock
In pieces?’”
Jeremiah 23:29
“I baptize you
With water for repentance
But after me=comes one
Who is more powerful
Than I
Whose sandals=I am
Not worthy to carry=
He will baptize you
With the Holy Spirit
AND FIRE”
Matthew 3:11
Daniel depicts the ANCIENT ONE
As fire=He wants us
To see God the Father
On his throne of leadership
We must let the HOLY ONE=
Our Holy God
Rule our hearts
RECEIVING THE FIERY GIFTS OF THE LORD!
“……..their work will be shown
For what it is
Because the DAY-
Will bring it to light
It will be revealed
WITH FIRE=and the FIRE
Will test=the quality
Of each person’s work”
1 Corinthians 3:13
WHEN we follow the Lord
When we follow the SPIRIT
We receive
The fiery gifts
OF SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION
And an INTERIOR DIRECTION
To FOLLOW the light
Of his unfailing love
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our SPIRITUAL LEADING
FATHER!
