LIVING IN GOD’S KINGDOM

 

Today we have a WRITING

From James=who describes

What religion is

 

He says “PURE AND UNDEFILED” religion

Breaks down into two parts=He says

Religion is first=”to CARE for orphans

And widows=in their affliction”                                                                                     James 1:27

 

And then he says=The second part

Of religion is to

“Keep oneself UNPOLLUTED by the world”

 

To live IN GOD’S KINGDOM=

To really live like Jesus=that is

What we have to do

LIVING IN GOD’S KINGDOM

 

We have to ASK OURSELVES

Who in this society

Who is defenseless  and oppressed?

 

That is who we have

To be=that is HOW

We have to love

IF we are=to love LIKE JESUS

 

If we are=to LIIVE CORRECTLY

In GOD’S KINGDOM

 

What is religion to you?

WHO are you trying to HELP

In today’s world?

 

LIVING IN GOD’S KINGDOM=

Loving in God’s kingdom

 

“My people have

Committed two sins=

 

They have forsaken me-

The spring of LIVING WATER=

And have dug

Their own cisterns

 

Broken cisterns

That cannot hold water”                                                                                                       Jeremiah 2:13

 

“Whoever believes in me

As Scripture has said

 

Rivers of LIVING WATER

Will flow from within them”                                                                                              John 7:38

 

Yes=we should try

To LIVE=and not be polluted

By this world

 

We NEED to live

With God in our lives=

We cannot ignore God

And just live

In the SECULAR WORLD

 

And we CANNOT live

With a value system

That OPPOSES God

 

Living with

A love of God

Living with=a love

FOR OTHERS

LIVING IN GOD’S KINGDOM

 

“But seek first

HIS KINGDOM=and his righteousness

 

And all these things

Will be given to you

As well”                                                                                                                                       Matthew 6:33

 

“When Jesus saw this-

He was indignant=

He said to them

 

‘Let the children=come to me

And do not hinder them

 

For the KINGDOM OF GOD

Belongs to such as these’”                                                                                           Mark 10:14

 

The WORLD tells us

That the PURPOSE of life=is to

Get money-power-and fame

BUY-buy-buy

 

But Jesus tells us

The PURPOSE of life=is

To live a life=OF SERVICE

 

LIVE FOR GOD=live for others

Live pure religion=and you will not be far

From=LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=Holy Father God!
