MEANT TO MULTIPLY=OUR TALENTS

 

We all have some sort

Of GIFTS in this world

 

Some of us

Have material blessings=some of us

Have spiritual blessings=and

Some of us have

The gift OF PRAYER

 

We can all pray

For someone else=it just

Takes a little bit of

TIME AND EFFORT

 

“Well done=my good

And FAITHFUL SERVANT”                                                                                              Matthew 25:21

 

Today we read about

The PARABLE of the

Bags of gold

 

Our word “TALENT”

Or gift=is derived

From this SCRIPTURAL PASSAGE

 

A talent was

A HUGE sum of money-------

One estimate is 6,000 days’ wages-------

So the master

ENTRUSTED something of great value

To the servant

 

Just imagine if we

Were GIVEN the equivalent=

One talent=at today’s minimum wage=it

Would be half-a-million dollars

 

Who would take this

And BURY it in the ground?

 

WE are MEANT

To MULTIPLY our talents=

In this world=we are meant

To make them GROW

 

Our talents from God

Are a GIFT=we are to

GIVE them to others

And MULTIPLY THEM=

Make them grow

 

“Dishonest money dwindles away=

But whoever gathers money

Little by little

MAKES IT GROW”                                                                                                                   Proverbs 13:11

 

“I planted the seed-

Apollos watered it=

But God has-

Been MAKING IT GROW”                                                                                                     1 Corinthians 3:6

 

“But GROW

In the grace and knowledge

Of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

 

To him be glory

Both now and forever=Amen”                                                                                   2 Peter 3:18

 

We are MEANT to

MULTIPLY OUR TALENTS

In this Kingdom of God

 

ONLY GOD can make them grow

Only LOVE can make them grow

 

To HIDE our talent=
Is to waste our gifts

Whether we have been BLESSED

With little=or with much

We are MEANT

To SHARE them with our

Brothers and sisters

 

We are meant

TO SHARE=in this Kingdom of God

We are MEANT=to bear fruit

 

“Nevertheless=the one

Who receives instruction

In the word

 

Should SHARE all good things

With their instructor”                                                                                                                  Galatians 6:6

 

“Command them=to do good=

To be rich=in good deeds

 

And to be generous

And WILLING TO SHARE”                                                                                                       1 Timothy 6:18

 

Dear Lord=we PRAY

That we do not hide

Or bury our talents

 

That we MULTIPLY THEM

Share them=and make them grow

 

In Jesus’ name=and our always MULTIPLYING God=and SHARING Holy Father!
