GOD'S DEEP LONGING FOR YOU

 

GOD’S DEEP LONGING FOR YOU

 

I pray every day=

To our dear God=our Holy Father

And I pray=for ALL of you

 

We live in a very MIXED-UP=

Very MEAN WORLD=and we all

NEED all the love=

All the prayers=that we can get

 

EVERY TIME we pray

The WORD of God=we enter

Into a prayerful experience

With the Lord=and with each other

 

Our God has a DEEP LONGING

For us=and IN US=

He wants good things

To happen for us too

GOD’S DEEP LONGING FOR US!

 

“Night and day-

We PRAY beyond measure=

To see you in person…….”                                                                                             1 Thessalonians 3:10

 

These first couple of years=

During this time of COVID

We haven’t been able

To spend as much TIME

With each other=as we

Would have liked

 

We have to socially distance

From each other=to be SAFE

 

But I still have

A YEARNING to see ALL OF YOU=

To spend time with you

And I miss you

As I MISS MY LOVING GOD

 

And God has a

DEEP LONGING for us=that we

PRAY to him=that we

Spend time with him=IN PRAYER

 

“A LONGING FULFILLED

Is sweet to the soul=

But fools detest=turning from evil”                                                                                         Proverbs 13:19

 

“Yet the Lord LONGS

To be gracious to you

 

Therefore he will rise up

To show you compassion=

For the Lord

 

Is a God of justice

Blessed are they=who wait for him”                                                                          Isaiah 30:18

 

“Meanwhile we groan-

LONGING to be clothed

Instead with=our heavenly dwelling……..”                                                                       2 Corinthians 5:2

 

I feel a DEEP YEARNING

To gather with people=

To love on them=

TO HUG THEM

 

To be in their presence

And in their love=

I long for them

I wait for them

 

And I feel a

DEEP YEARNING for God=now

More so than ever

And PASSED FAMILY and friends

Who have gone on to

The next world

 

And I KNOW=God feels

A DEEP YEARNING for us

To be with us=to love him

And to COME HOME to him

When it is our time

 

“The Spirit searches all things

Even the=DEEP THINGS of God

 

For who knows

A person’s thoughts

Except their own spirit=within them?”                                                                              1 Corinthians 2:10

 

God has a LONGING FOR US=

A deep yearning for us=

To bring us safely home

To him=and HIS LOVING EMBRACE

 

Forever and ever=may we recognize

You Lord=in each and

EVERY PERSON that we meet

 

WE YEARN for you=in

The SAME WAY=you yearn for us

 

In the name of Jesus=and God our Holy LOVING FATHER
