LISTENING FOR HIS VOICE!

 

LISTENING FOR HIS VOICE!

 

There are a lot of

PEOPLE=in this world

That can’t hear the words

WHEN they are spoken=

Sometimes=I even have this

Problem myself

 

But I TRY to keep

My ears open=LISTENING where

God is concerned

 

“If today-you hear

His VOICE=

Harden not your hearts”                                                                                                       Psalm 95:8

 

There are a lot of people

In this world

With VERY HARD HEARTS

 

They don’t want anyone else

To catch a BREAK=

They only CARE

About themselves

 

But thankfully=

We are NOT this way=

Especially if we are HEARING

The word of God

 

Especially if

We are reading

The WORD of God=everyday

LISTENING FOR HIS VOICE!

 

“So Eli told Samuel=

‘Go and lie down-

And if he calls you=say

 

‘Speak Lord=

For your servant is LISTENING’

So Samuel

Went and lay down=in his place”                                                                                      1 Samuel 3:9

 

“To answer BEFORE LISTENING=

That is folly and shame”                                                                                               Proverbs 18:13

 

God speaks to me=

SPEAKS to us every day=

Some days=

We get the message

And some days=we don’t

 

We are just

NOT PATIENT ENOUGH

To listen for

The Word of God

 

Other days=

Everything goes just right=

A CHANCE ENCOUNTER

With a friend

Is just=what we NEED

To PROPEL our day forward=

We hear

ALL the words=of the Lord

 

LISTENING FOR HIS VOICE!

His words=Hearing

The Word of God

 

“For he is our God

And we are=the people

Of his pasture

The flock=under his care

 

Today=if only you

Would HEAR HIS VOICE=

Do not harden your hearts

As you did at Meribah”                                                                                                   Psalm 95:7

 

“The gatekeeper

Opens the gate for him

And the sheep

LISTEN to his voice

 

He calls his own sheep

By name=and leads them out”                                                                        John 10:3

 

Sometimes we don’t

Get or hear

The words from our Lord

 

But we RECEIVE them

We INCORPORATE the words

Into our actions

We LIVE=for the Lord!

 

We HEAR HIS VOICE

With our hearts

 

So read the words

Of the Lord=every day

LISTEN FOR HIS VOICE!=

And propel his message

Into your ACTIONS

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=and the VOICE of our ever present HOLY FATHER!
