ALL PEOPLE=ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD

 

This if ONE=I don’t think MOST PEOPLE=have a

CLUE about=but IF they do=they choose to HONOR

THE RICH=and most influential and FAMOUS PEOPLE=

 

In this world=but the TRUTH IS=all people=ARE IMPORTANT

To God=NONE more important than another=”You do see=

For you behold misery and sorrow=taking them IN your hands=

 

On you=THE UNFORTUNATE MAN DEPENDS=of the fatherless

YOU are the helper”                                                                                                                          Psalm 10:14

 

Just look at=the parable of THE GOOD SAMARITAN=in chapter 10

Of Saint Luke’s gospel=Jesus tells us=TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR=and

He tells us=HOW to do it=while not specifically=WHO OUR

NEIGHBOR IS

 

Jesus says=”Which of these THREE=do you think=was a NEIGHBOR=

To the man=who fell into the hands of robbers?”

“The EXPERT=in the law replied=’The one=WHO HAD MERCY=

On him’”and then Jesus told him=’GO AND DO LIKEWISE’”                                                  Luke 10:36-37

 

WITHOUT saying the words=Jesus tells us=OUR NEIGHBOR=is

Every other person=IN THIS WORLD=LOVE THEM=Love your

Neighbor=ALL PEOPLE=ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD

 

That means=THE POOR TOO=CONCERN for the poor=and

THE MARGINALIZED=runs through the Old Testament=and

Jesus has a PARTICULAR AFFILIATION=for the poor=He was

POOR himself=ALL PEOPLE=ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD

Love them=CARE for them=Love all of your NEIGHBORS           

 

“Cast YOUR CARES=on the Lord=and he will sustain you=He

Will never let=the righteous be shaken”                                                                                      Psalm 25:22

 

“But a SAMARITAN=as he traveled=Came where the man was=

And when he saw him=He took pity on him

 

He went to him=and BANDAGED his wounds=pouring on

Oil and wine=Then he put the man=On his own donkey=brought him

To an inn=AND TOOK CARE OF HIM”                                                                                         Luke 10:33-34

 

“Be shepherds=of God’s flock=that is=UNDER YOUR CARE=

Watching over them=--------not because you must=but because

You are WILLING

 

As God wants you to be=Not pursuing dishonest gain=but eager

To serve=Not lording it over=those entrusted to you=but

BEING EXAMPLES=to the flock”                                                                                                     1 Peter 5:2-3

 

The Lord FROWNS down upon=those who are rejecting=

Who EXCLUDE=who bully=dismiss=and ABUSE others

We should LOVE ALL=of our neighbors=for

ALL PEOPLE=ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD!=The Lord loves those who

Include the POOR=in their love

 

“THIS POOR MAN Called=and the Lord heard him=He

Saved him=Out of all his troubles”                                                                                               Psalm 34:6

 

“BETTER THE POOR=whose walk is blameless=than a fool

Whose lips are perverse”                                                                                                               Proverbs 19;1

 

“Jesus replied’=’Go back and report to John=what you

Hear and see=The blind receive sight=the lame walk=those

Who have leprosy are cleansed

 

The deaf hear=the dead are raised=and the good news=is

PROCLAIMED TO THE POOR’”                                                                                                           Matthew 11:4-5

 

ALL PEOPLE=ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD=the POOR TOO=

Care for them=LOVE your neighbor

 

In Jesus’ name= and in the name of=OUR EVER LIVING=ever loving

Of everyone=Holy Father God!
