GOD=OUR SUPREME ROLE MODEL

(In our JESUS)!

 

We all have ROLE MODELS=In our life=and IN this world=

For many of us=IT is our Father=our Mother=or an Aunt

Or an Uncle=or cousin=or even a CLOSE FRIEND=and

ALL of that is=TRUE FOR ME=we have such a

FANTASTIC FAMILY

 

But I have to tell you=my UTMOST role model=is Jesus Christ

Because of his love=for HIS FATHER=and for EVERY HUMAN BEING=

In this world-I HOPE=that in some small way=JUST A SMIDGEON

Of that love=has RUBBED OFF ON ME=That is my DUTY=as a

21sr CENTURY APOSTLE=of the Holy Father God=and Jesus=

Jesus is ALL ABOUT LOVE!

 

“We are AFFLICTED=in every way=but not constrained=perplexed=

But NOT driven to despair=PERSECUTED=but not abandoned=struck

Down=but not destroyed”                                                                                                                 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

 

Jesus is=MY SUPREME MODEL=because he alone=brought us

HIS FATHER’S LOVE=despite the world’s efforts to keep him from

Doing so=and he PASSED that love on down=to Saint Paul=to Saint

Peter=and to all OF THE APOSTLES=as well as the SAINTS=canonized

And uncanonized=They are all=OUR role models too=It is

ALL ABOUT LOVE=my dear friends=and God is=Jesus is

MY/OUR SUPREME MODELS!

 

“And he is=the head of the body=the church=he is the beginning=

And the firstborn=from among the dead=so that in everything he=

MIGHT HAVE THE SUPREMACY”                                                                                                     Colossians 1:18

 

“So he became=AS MUCH SUPERIOR=to the angels=as

The name he inherited=is SUPERIOR to theirs”                                                                     Hebrews 1:4

 

“But in fact=the ministry=the ministry Jesus has received=

Is AS SUPERIOR to theirs=as the covenant=of which he is

THE MEDIATOR=IS SUPERIOR to the old one=since the

NEW COVENANT=is established on better promises”                                                            Hebrews 8:6

 

EVERYTHING Jesus said and did=was TRUE=HIS was superior

To the old covenant=because his was=BASED on perfect LOVE

And sacrifice=and CARRIED to all of us

 

THE LORD=can bring PERFECT LOVE=out of things=and he did

EVEN in his death=and his FATHER brought us that

REVELATION of love=through the RESURRECTION=Jesus the SON=

And the HOLY FATHER GOD=MY/OUR SUPREME ROLE MODELS

In this world=His perfect love=EVEN in confusion and suffering=

My=OUR SUPREME ROLE MODELS=even in death

HIS LOVE=surpasses everything=in this world

 

“Praise him=for his acts of power=praise him for his

SURPASSING GREATNESS”                                                                                                   Psalm 150:2

 

“For what was glorious=has no glory now=in comparison

With the SURPASSING GLORY”                                                                                                2 Corinthians 3:10

 

And my friends=In Jesus Christ=GOD HIMSELF=and his Holy

Father God=we find OUR SUPREME LOVE=and because of that

We find=OUR SUPREME ROLE MODELS=Join me=in

MAKING THEM=your role models too!

 

A PERFECT LIFE=a perfect life=a perfect death=IN JESUS

Christ only=In Jesus’ name=and in the name=Of our ever loving

Ever living=ever PERFECT=Holy Father God!
