NO AMOUNT IS ENOUGH=FOR OUR SOULS!

 

 

 

 

 

 

NO AMOUNT IS ENOUGH!

(For our souls)                 

 

Today we have an INTERESTING STORY=About Jesus

PAYING the temple tax=Doubtless=he had done it before=

But this time=Jesus USES IT=as a teaching moment

 

Jesus tells Peter=how to FIND A FISH=that will have a coin

IN its mouth=ENOUGH to pay the tax for them BOTH=”……

Take the FIRST FISH=that comes up=OPEN its mouth and=

You will find a COIN=worth twice the temple tax=GIVE that

To them for me=and for you”                                                                                                              Matthew 17:27

 

But Jesus’ life=was about SO MUCH MORE=than a temple tax=IT

Was about=GIVING HIS LIFE=for our souls=it was about=paying the PRICE

For our souls=It was about=giving his life=AS A RANSOM for us

 

You cannot=BUY A SOUL=at any price=only the PERFECT LOVE=

Of our Lord Jesus Christ=and the Holy Father God=Can PURCHASE

Our souls=NO AMOUNT OF MONEY=can buy one singe soul=The PRICE

Of a SOUL=is infinite=is EVERLASTING

 

“Coral and jasper=are not worthy of mention=THE PRICE of wisdom=is

Beyond rubies”                                                                                                                                       Job 28:18

 

“Do you not know=That your bodies=are temples of the Holy Spirit=

Who is in  you=whom you have received from God?=You are NOT

Your own=You were=BOUGHT AT A PRICE=Therefore honor God=with

Your bodies”                                                                                                                                            1 Corinthians 19:20

 

“You were bought=AT A PRICE=do not become slaves of human

Beings”                                                                                                                                                       1 Corinthians 7:23

 

NO AMOUNT OF MONEY=is enough=to BUY one single soul=and

YET=we were all bought==by the body and blood=and SOUL=of our

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ=NO AMOUNT of money is ENOUGH=for

THE PRICE OF A SOUL!

 

No amount of MONEY=from Peter and the OTHER APOSTLES=would be

ENOUGH=for just one soul=Our Jesus did that=WILLINGLY AND LOVINGLY=

By going to the CROSS=with his body and blood=HE PAID THE PRICE=for

ALL OF US=He ransomed us=NO AMOUNT OF MONEY=would have

Been enough for our souls

 

“…….and whoever wants to be first=Must be your slave------just as

The SON OF MAN=did not come to be served=but to serve=and to

Give his life=as a RANSOM FOR MANY”                                                                                            Matthew 20:28

 

“For this reason Christ=is the mediator=of the new covenant=that

Those who are called=may receive the promised eternal inheritance=-------

Now that he has died=AS A RANSON=to set them free from

The sins committed=under the first covenant”                                                                          Hebrews 9:15

 

Dear Lord=we say THANK YOU=for paying the price=FOR OUR SOULS==

With your vey own BODY AND BLOOD=soul=and your PERFECT LOVE

 

For=NO AMOUNT OF MONEY=can purchase even one soul=We are

GRATEFUL for your PRESENCE and your GOODNESS in our lives

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever living=EVER LOVING=the

KEEPER of our souls=OUR HOLY FATHER GOD!
