THE GIFT OF HIMSELF=

(AND OURSELVES)

 

Jesus=CAME to this world=to GIVE US

EVERYTHING that we need=to make it to the next world=

Namely=he GAVE US HIMSELF=and he gave us the EUCHARIST=

So we could have his body and blood=for the REST of ETERNITY

THE GIFT OF HIMSELF=and ourselves=if we are FOLLOWING

In Christ’s footsteps

 

“Do NOT work for food=that perishes=but for food=that ENDURES

FOR ETERNAL LIFE……..”                                                                                                                     John 6:27

 

Jesus wants us=TO LIVE FOREVER=with him=in heaven=so

He gave us=his body and blood=for the SINS of humanity=THE

GIFT OF HIMSELF=for all of time=for all eternity=He leaves us

BREAD from heaven=”Jesus said to them=’Very truly I tell you=it

Is not Moses=who has given you=the bread from heaven=but it is

MY FATHER=who GIVES YOU=the true bread from heaven’”                                                John 6:32

 

Our God=our Holy Father God=wants us to have ETERNAL LIFE=He

Wants us to be=His FOLLOWERS=and his son’s followers=and spend

ETERNITY in heaven with him=That is why=he gave us=THE GIFT

OF HIMSELF=so we could have=ETERNAL LIFE=”For my Father’s will=

Is that everyone=who looks to the Son=and believes in him=shall

HAVE ETERNAL LIFE==and I will raise them up=on the last day”                                         John 6:40

 

That is WHY=Jesus gave us=His body and blood=so we could receive him=

And spend ALL OF ETERNITY with him=THE GIFT OF HIMSELF=and if we are

TRULY=the followers of Christ=and the HOLY FATHER GOD=we will give

THE WORLD=the gift of OURSELVES TOO

 

“Therefore=if you are OFFERING YOUR GIFT=at the altar=and there remember

That your brother or sister=has something against you=LEAVE YOUR GIFT there

 

In front of the altar=First go and be reconciled=to them=then come and

OFFER YOUR GIFT”                                                                                                                                 Matthew 5:23-24

 

“Peter replied’=’Repent and be baptized=every one of you=In

The name of Jesus Christ=for the forgiveness=of your sins=and you will

Receive the GIFT=of the Holy Spirit’”                                                                                             Acts 2:38

 

When we have the Holy Spirit=LIVING IN US=we have Jesus living

In us too=WE have the gift of the Lord=for all of time=and ETENAL LIFE=

THE GIFT OF HIMSELF

 

And when we give=the GIFT OF OURSELVES=for Jesus=we are giving

And LIVING=THE GREAT COMISSION OF JESUS=”Then Jesus came to them=

And said’=’Therefore go and make=disciples of all nations=baptizing them=

In the name of the Father=and of the Son=and the Holy Spirit

 

And teaching them to obey everything=I have commanded you=and SURELY

I am with you ALWAYS=to the very end of the age”                                                                   Matthew 28:18-20

 

Jesus GAVE us=the GIFT OF HIMSELF=IF we give him=THE GIFT OF OURSELVES=

We are with HIM=and the Holy Father God=for all of eternity

In Jesus’ name=and in the name of our FOREVER LIVING=LOVING

Holy Father God!
