PASSED DOWN THROUGH FAMILIES

 

 

 

 

 

PASSED DOWN THROUGH FAMILIES=

(That NEVER ENDING FAITH)

 

Did you ever stop=and THINK=Jesus HAD A FAMILY=

Just the SAME=as you and me=He had a MOTHER MARY=

And he had a Stepfather=IN Saint Joseph=and he had

GRANDPARENTS TOO=Joachim and Anne=the parents

Of Mary

 

We CELEBRATE the grandparents today on July 26^th=the feast

Of Joachim and Anne=Jesus’ HUMAN FAITH was PASSED DOWN=

Through the FAMILY=His NEVER ENDING FAITH=Passed to him

THROUGH his parents and grandparents=just like you and me=

PASSED DOWN THROUGH FAMILIES!

“But the SEED=sown in rich soil=is the one=who HEARS

THE WORD=and understands it=who indeed BEARS FRUIT=and

Yields=a hundred=sixty=or thirty fold”                                                                                          Matthew 13:23

 

THAT FAITH=was PASSED DOWN to Jesus=but he did not

Need it=because he not only=HEARD THE WORD=and UNDERSTOOD

IT=but he=WAS THE WORD INCARNATE=the word IN FLESH=

PASSED DOWN THROUGH FAMILIES=to you and me=through

Our families=THE WORD PASSED DOWN=through families

Like Joachim and Anne=and our FAMILIES too

 

“How can a young person=stay on the path of purity?=

By living=ACCORDING TO YOUR WOD?”                                                                                Psalm 119:9

 

“EVERY WORD=Of God is flawless=he is a shield=to those

Who take refuge in him”                                                                                                                       Proverbs 30:5

 

“Heaven and earth=will pass away=BUT MY WORDS=

Will never pass away”                                                                                                                  Matthew 24:35

 

That’s right=HEAR Jesus’ words=and UNDERSTAND THEM=because

They and HE=will never die=they will LIVE ON=in us=forever and ever

 

And we are=JESUS’ FAMILY=we are the BROTHERS and sisters of Christ=

And we are the sons and daughters=of the HOLY FATHER GOD!=His

WORDS=PASSED on down through=THE FAMILY=of you and me=the

WORDS OF GOD=that form OUR ENDURING FAITH!

 

“Simon Peter answered him’=’Lord to whom=shall we go?=

You have the WORDS=OF ETERNAL LIFE=We have come to BELIEVE=

And to know=that you are=the Holy ONE OF GOD’”                                                                    John 6:68

 

“Unlike so many=we do NOT=peddle the WORD OF GOD=

For profit=On the contrary=in Christ=we speak before God=

WITH SINCERITY=as those sent from God”                                                                            2 Corinthians 2:17

 

“Then you will shine=Like the stars in the sky=as you hold

Firmly= to the WORD OF LIFE”                                                                                                         Philippians 2:16

 

And so today=my friends=We NOT ONLY HONOR JESUS=

Who was=and IS THE WORD=but we also HONOR HIS FAMILY=

And all families=who PASS THE WORD OF GOD DOWN=from

GENERATION to generation=Like Jesus’ family=BEGINNING with

Joachim and Anne=and Mary and Joseph=and JESUS HIMSELF

 

This is a FEAST DAY=for all of our FAMILIES=for we are=TOGETHER=

The FAMILY of The Holy Father God and Jesus

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of the HOLY FATHER GOD=the

FATHER OF ALL FAMILIES=who is ever living and ever loving!
