SHARING OUR LIVES

SHARING OUR LIVES

Our God=Our Jesus=wants to SHARE every part of

Our lives with us=Particularly the saddest=most difficult

Parts of our life=Like WHEN we LOSE SOMEONE=a loved ONE

To death=SHARING OUR GRIEF=SHARING OUR LIVES with us=

“When Jesus heard=OF THE DEATH=of John the Baptist=he withdrew

In a boat=to a deserted place=by himself”                                                                                  Matthew 14:13

And isn’t=that the way that is is=when we lose someone

NEAR AND DEAR=We just cannot believe=that life goes on=I

Know that is how I felt=when my Father died=in the year 2,000

WHEN Jesus heard=about his cousin John’s death=HE WITHDREW

He wanted to be=by himself=ALONE=sometimes we just need to CRY=

TO SHED OUR TEARS=when something difficult happens=Jesus and

The HOLY FATHER GOD=share our SENSITIVE MOMENTS too=they

CRY WITH US

“The eyes=of the Lord=are on the righteous=and his ears are attentive

To their CRY”                                                                                                                                      Psalm 34:15

“Wait patiently=for the Lord=He turned to me=and heard  MY CRY”                             Psalm 40:1

“Out of the depths=I CRY TO YOU=to you Lord=Lord hear my voice”                               Psalm 630:1

DEATH=is such a wasted emotion=and so needless=but it is part

Of the CIRCLE OF LIFE=but IF we are living right=we will be SHARING our

ETERNAL LIVES=with the Holy Father God=and his Son Jesus Christ=He

CARRIES US=in our grief=when those moments CALL ON US=during life

“But you God=see the trouble=of the afflicted=You consider THEIR GRIEF=

And take it in hand”                                                                                                                             Psalm 10:14

“Even in laughter=the heart may ache=and rejoicing may end

IN GRIEF”                                                                                                                                               Proverbs 14:13

“Though he BRINGS GRIEF=he will show compassion=so great is

His unfailing love”                                                                                                                                 Lamentations 3:32

When we LOSE someone to death=The EMPTINESS we feel=is

So so great=Jesus felt that GRIEF=when his cousin John died=when

His good friend=LAZARUS died=He feels empty too=When we

LOSE someone to death=Jesus SHARES HIS LIFE with us=he

SHARES OUR GRIEF!

“Very truly=I tell you=you will weep and mourn=while the

World rejoices=YOU WILL GRIEVE=but your grief will turn to joy”                                 John 16:20

“In all this=you greatly rejoice=though now for=a little while=You

May have had=TO SUFFER GRIEF=In all  kind of trials”                                                    1 Peter 1:6

We may=NEED TO BE ALONE=when someone close dies=We

May need to withdraw into ourselves=we may need to REACH OUT

To others=GRIEF brings out all kinds of emotions

“But as for me=My feet had almost slipped=I nearly=LOST MY FOOTHOLD”                     Psalm 73:2

“And when he finds it=He joyfully puts it=on his shoulders=and goes

Home=Then he calls his friends and neighbors=together and says=

‘Rejoice with me=I HAVE FOUND=my lost sheep’”                                                                    Luke 15:5-6

Our Lord=and Holy Father God=felt all that we feel=in this world=and

HE SHARED HIS GRIEF=all things in life=SHARING OUR LIVES like Jesus=

Jesus knew the human condition=AND CRIED TOO

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LOVING=ever LIVING=ever

SHARING=Holy Father God!
